This Privacy Policy explains how Mail2SMS Local accesses, uses, and handles information when a user connects a Google account to the application.
1. Google Account Data We Access
Mail2SMS Local may request access to the user's Google email address and read-only Gmail data through Google OAuth 2.0.
The application may use Google Cloud Pub/Sub to receive mailbox change notifications. These notifications are used to determine when the application should check for relevant email activity.
2. How Google Data Is Used
Gmail data is accessed only to provide the core Mail2SMS Local functionality, including identifying and processing email events needed for configured SMS notification workflows.
Mail2SMS Local does not use Google user data for advertising, profiling, marketing, or sale to third parties.
3. Read-Only Gmail Access
Mail2SMS Local requests read-only Gmail permission. The application does not use this permission to delete, modify, move, or send Gmail messages.
4. Data Storage
Mail2SMS Local is designed to operate locally. OAuth credentials and application-related configuration may be stored on the local system where the application is installed.
Google account data is not intentionally collected for advertising or sold to third parties.
5. Data Sharing
Google user data is not sold or shared with third parties for advertising purposes. Data may only be processed as necessary to provide the application's configured functionality or where required by law.
6. Revoking Access
Users can revoke Mail2SMS Local's access to their Google Account at any time through their Google Account security settings.
7. Security
Reasonable measures are used to protect OAuth credentials and application data. Users are also responsible for maintaining the security of the computer on which Mail2SMS Local is installed.
8. Google API Services User Data Policy
Mail2SMS Local's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
9. Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated when the application's functionality or data handling practices change. The latest version will be published on this page.
